What is "One & Only"?
This site is banner exchange based on the idea of pairing claims. A banner exchange is pretty much what it sounds like - people join with banners representing their sites, and put a code on their site that shows the banners of other people in the exchange. In return, their banners get shown by the other people in the exchange! You can see a few banner exchanges (including this one!) in action at
Revivify.net. This particular exchange is based around pairings - to join this one, you claim a pairing you love and make your banner reflect that couple.
What do I need to know to join?
There are a few simple rules to follow when joining "One & Only":
Pairings can be from any fictional work. No real life couples, please.
No crossovers. If a couple appears in two series, please list them under the one in which they first appeared together. For example, even though Buffy Summers and Angel have appeared on both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, they first both appeared on Buffy, and so that's what they'd be listed under.
Only one person can claim each pairing. To check what pairings have already been taken, click here.
Note! If your pairing has been claimed, please look at the site that claimed it. If it is a dead link or the One & Only code is nowhere on the site, e-mail me and let me know so I can deal with it.
Your banner must measure 50 pixels by 50 pixels and be direct-linkable. Otherwise, it won't display on other people's sites.
You can e-mail me and ask to switch pairings if you change your mind as to who you'd like, but please do this sparingly. Asking for too many different pairings could lead to you being removed from the exchange.
One pairing per site - this should be a pairing you absolute adore, not one of many that you marginally like. Pick your very favorite that's still available!
